What Is Phonographia.com?
Phonographia.com is a visual and popular culture history of the phonograph from 1877 to the present. Like a scrapbook, the paper in phonographia.com is ephemera with many phonograph ads, clippings, stories, art, lists, descriptions, and factolas -- each with a connection to the phonograph. Bill McKibben wrote in Falter that "Everything comes with strings attached, and you can follow those strings into every corner of our past and present."
